Privacy policy
Effective June 2026. The short version: what you tell us goes to exactly one local advisor so they can help you, it is never sold to lead lists, and California law gives you rights over it that we make easy to use.
What we collect
Only what you give us. When you submit a form, that's your name, phone, email, who needs care, the care situation you describe, a budget range, a timeline, neighborhood preferences, and anything you write in the notes. We don't run advertising trackers, and the site sets no cookies of its own.
A note on sensitive details: descriptions of a parent's health often come with this territory. We are not a healthcare provider and this is not a medical relationship; share what you're comfortable sharing, at the level of detail you choose. It's all handled under this policy either way.
Where it goes (the entire list)
- The one local placement advisor who will help you. This is the point of the service: they call you prepared so you don't repeat your story. They're contractually required to use your information only to help your family and to delete it on request.
- Our form processor (the service that delivers your submission to us by email), acting as a service provider.
- Nobody else. No lead lists, no data brokers, no "marketing partners."
Notice at collection (the formal version)
Categories collected: identifiers (name, phone, email); personal information you volunteer about your family's care situation, budget, and timeline. Purpose: responding to you and connecting you with one local senior living advisor. Because that advisor compensates us when a placement they assisted results from our introduction, California law may treat the introduction as a "sale" or "sharing" of personal information. That legal label is why the opt-out below exists, and it changes nothing about our actual practice: one advisor, no lists. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16, and we do not use or disclose sensitive personal information for purposes requiring a right to limit under California law. We keep your information only as long as needed to provide the service and honor the rights below.
Your California rights
- Know: ask what we have about you, and we'll send it.
- Delete: ask, and we delete your information and instruct the advisor to delete their copy.
- Correct: tell us what's wrong, and we'll fix it.
- Opt out of sale or sharing: see below.
- No discrimination: exercising any right never affects the help you get.
To use any of these, email [email protected] with what you'd like. No forms, no hoops, no account needed. We confirm receipt promptly and complete requests well inside the 45 days California allows. We verify requests by matching the contact details you submitted.
Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information
Email [email protected] with the subject "Do Not Sell or Share," from the email address you used with us. We'll stop any advisor introduction that hasn't happened yet, mark your record as opted out, and confirm when it's done. If you submit this before anyone has contacted you, your inquiry simply ends with us and goes no further.
Calls and texts
You're contacted only after you submit a form with the consent box checked. Reply STOP to any text to end texts immediately, or just say "please stop calling" on a call and that's that.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version is posted here with a new effective date. We won't quietly weaken the "one advisor, no lists" promise; that one is the business.
